I don't price a job I haven't looked at.

You walk a roof before you quote it. You look in the attic before you tell somebody what the ductwork costs. I work the same way. Before I build anything, I go through your operation and your own numbers, and I tell you what to fix first, what it costs, and what isn't worth fixing.

Most people sell you the build first.

They ask what you want, quote it, and start. Nobody looked at how the work actually moves through your shop. So you pay to automate a thing that wasn't the problem, and the real bottleneck is still sitting there in your head at nine o'clock at night.

The walkthrough is the looking. One week. I go through how the business really runs, and I go through your own records: your last thirty quotes, your customer list, whatever you actually use to keep track. Then you get it in writing.

Walk. Rank. Price. Build.

Walk
I go through your operation and your own numbers. Quotes, follow-up, who answers what.
Rank
Three bottlenecks, worst first, with what each one is costing you.
Price
What it takes to fix each one, and which ones to leave alone.
Build
Only then. And only if the math says so.

What you actually walk away with

  • The report. Six to ten pages. What I found, what it's costing you, and what I'd do about it, in order.
  • The punch list. One page. Three fixes, ranked. Print it and hang it in the shop.
  • A priced roadmap. What each fix runs, and a section for the ones I'd leave alone.
  • A half hour on the phone where I walk you through all of it and you ask questions.
  • It's yours either way. You keep the report whether you ever hire me or not.

What it costs

The Business Walkthrough
$1,500
One week. Before anything gets built.

If you hire me to build what it recommends, that $1,500 comes off the build price. Do it within 90 days and it's the whole $1,500.

Sometimes the answer is don't build anything

If that's what I find, I write it down, you keep the report, and we're square. I'd rather tell you that for $1,500 than have us find out together for $5,000.

That happens more than you'd think. Sometimes the fix is a phone call you're not making, or a form nobody filled out, and no software on earth is going to help. You should hear that from somebody who looked, not from somebody who guessed.

I don't email you a report and disappear

We get on a call and I walk you through what I found, why it's ranked the way it is, and what I'd leave alone. You ask questions while I'm still in front of you.

A report you read alone is a stack of paper. A report we go through together is a decision you can actually make. That call is part of what you're paying for, not an upsell.

Who this is for

  • You're the owner, and too much of the business runs through you personally.
  • You've got real records to look at. Quotes, a customer list, a job board, something.
  • You want to know what's worth fixing before you spend five figures fixing it.

Who it isn't for: if you already know exactly what you want built and you just need somebody to build it, skip this and book the fit check. I'll tell you straight if the walkthrough would be a waste of your money.
